BEDS FOR THE ARMY
Charity initiative "Beds for the Army"
was created to raise funds, which will be directed to the manufacturing and acquisition of highly mobile multipurpose beds for the Ukrainian armed forces, hospitals, and refugees.
WHY IT MATTERS?
This war which russia has waged against Ukraine has revealed that the Ukrainian army not only needs to be equipped with modern weapons, supplies, and ammunition, they need supplies for the arrangement of everyday life.
Ukrainian troops usually have to rest right on the floor in the places of dislocation or in the dugouts. At the same time, modern armies have rollaway beds as part of the standard of a soldier's living conditions.
WHAT IS OUR AIM?
"Beds for the Army" charity initiative aims to provide Ukrainian warriors with 10,000 sets of mobile
One set contains 2 beds. Successful accomplishment of this charity initiative will mean that troops do not have to rest on the ground but on comfortable beds.
WHAT DOES THE MILITARY SAY ABOUT THE BED?
Mykhailo, logistics officer
The Main Intelligence Directorate
of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:
"We have tested the multifunctional rollaway bed-transformer together with two other representatives of my unit. The singular design makes it possible to use them separately or together as a bunk bed or use as a stretcher.
Tests show that a soldier with a height of 1,9 meters, and a weight of more than 100 kg, can easily be placed on the bed and can have a good rest on it. We have meticulously evaluated the strength of the structure and the lack of backlash. The iron frame is tight and the pipes do not creak, firmly fixed in their slots. The fabric is tightly stretched and holds the body in a horizontal position without sagging.
The bed is also equipped with organizers with pockets, where you can put all of your personal things.
I especially liked the simplicity and speed of the bed assembly. We put it together intuitively in a few minutes without reading an instruction or having any training before.
This is one of the most important factors as you have no time to read an instruction in the field conditions. It is also necessary to say that the set is quite light and mobile. Beds are transported in two bags with a size of about 40 Х 90 cm, the weight of each is 17 kg.
After this test, I can definitely recommend these beds are highly recommended for use in our unit".
HOW THE INITIATIVE WILL COLLECT MONEY?
Funding will be raised by selling prints. Prints are copies of original paintings which artists will donate in order to support this charity initiative. These prints will have an additional value as they are going to be signed by famous Ukrainian and World celebrities.
The prints will then be allocated for sale in online auctions for the physical prints and on other platforms as digital images (NFT).
People interested in buying prints will be able to make a
payment through cryptocurrency or by a bank card or PayPal. The buyer will get the print with the celebrities' autographs in sizes 86cm х 66cm (34inch х 26inch) in a frame and covered with glass straightly to the specified mailing address.
Funds immediately go to the charity fund which will buy the appropriate amount of bed-transformers.
WHO PROVIDED THE FIRST LOT FOR SALE?
American artist Marty Ricks painted the picture "Hallowed Ground" and has donated the printing rights to the charity initiative "Beds for the Army".

WHO IS THE INITIATIVE LOOKING FOR SUPPORT?
In order to make the prints even more valuable, the initiative seeks to enlist the support of many well-known Ukrainians, asking them to put an autograph on the prints.
"BEDS FOR THE ARMY" HAS ALREADY GAINED SUPPORT FROM KALUSH ORCHESTRA!
KALUSH ORCHESTRA - the winners of Eurovision Song Contest 2022 were first to give us their support.
WHO IS IN OUR TEAM NOW?
In order to accelerate the allocation of prints in the auctions and providing further intense marketing campaigns, we will conduct a presale of 10 prints with the original autographs of the Kalush Orchestra members priced
at $5,000 per each.
Part of the money from the presale will be used for the purchase of the first batch of the bed-transformers so that they can be transferred to the Ukrainian army ASAP.
